Deputy director of the National Refining and Distribution Company said that the average gasoline consumption has increased  8% since the same period last year. according to the latest figures, gasoline consumption has been more than 86 million liters per day since the beginning of September.

Shahrokh Khosravani said in an interview with ISNA about the latest fuel consumption in the country:gasoline consumption has been more than 86 million liters per day since the beginning of September. In fact, the gasoline consumption, which peaked at 85 million liters in July, continued to rise.

He said about the amount of gasoline consumption since the beginning of the year 2017: “The average gasoline consumption has been 81 million liters since the beginning of the year, which grew by 8% compared to the same period last year.” On the other hand, the average gasoline consumption in September of 2017 was 8% higher than in September of 2016.

The deputy director of the National Oil Refining and Distribution Company said that diesel consumption has grown 5 percent since the beginning of the year compared to the same period last year. according to the latest figures, the daily export of refined products is 450,000 barrels and It has export potential of 600,000 barrels per day.
